Night Vision

Torres Del Paine National Park, Chile

NIGHT VISION
- This was my first image of the Milky Way captured in the southern hemisphere. For those people who study and know constellation locations, photographing the night sky in Patagonia can be a little disorienting at first, since the stars and planets are not where you are used to finding them. This image is so unique because it showcases the Torres Del Paine jagged mountain peaks with the Milky Way, not to mention a nice reflection of the stars in the foreground lake. Reflections are especially rare to photograph in Patagonia since it requires such calm conditions. Patagonia is known for wind, and that's no joke. I was so lucky to get this shot, and I'm sure there aren't many other images like this around to view or purchase.
