Moonlight Over Zabriskie

Death Valley National Park, California

LIMITED EDITION OF 150

MOONLIGHT OVER ZABRISKIE - Death Valley National Park is famous for its record setting high temperatures during the day. Death Valley temperatures can exceed 120 degrees. But Death Valley at night is just as famous to astrophotographers because of the crystal-clear dark skies. The milky way, planets, and stars are more pronounced here, and the terrain is unworldly. This image was captured at Zabriskie Point. The entire valley floor is illuminated by moonlight, with the milky way dancing overhead. A well known mentor and colleague of mine said of this image "It's the best use of moonlight I have ever seen". I was very humbled and appreciate the comment, but all the credit goes to a higher power.

Simply put, Lumachrome HD Acrylic prints are the highest quality prints on the market today. Your photograph is converted to a transparency using a proprietary process, then face mounted under museum grade acrylic glass. These fine art prints are widely recognized as top of the line due to their sensational visual depth, bright appearance, razor sharp resolution, beautiful tonal range, and brilliant colors. Professional Acrylic Prints

Professional Acrylic Prints

Professional Acrylic Prints are a more cost-friendly option to the top of the line Lumachrome Acrylic prints. What's the difference? Frankly, it can be difficult to tell. These prints are also face-mounted to acrylic glass, but do not contain the TruLife upgrade. They are printed by a different lab than the Lumachrome prints, but nonetheless provide comparable quality and are guaranteed to last a lifetime.

Chromaluxe Metal Prints

Chromaluxe Metal Prints

Metal prints have become increasingly popular in recent years because of their visually striking characteristics, durability, lightweight material, and availability at a reasonable cost point.

The ChromaLuxe white metal aluminum print is my metal print of choice. These metallic prints have an additional vibrancy and contrast that is unmatched, while maintaining the true tonal range of the image.

Canvas Prints

Canvas Prints

Canvas Prints are photographic images printed directly onto canvas. The canvas material provides a texture that is both artsy and painter-like in appearance. Each canvas print includes a 1 1/2-inch border wrap that is digitally stretched around the edges, providing a continuous natural extension of the image. Extremely affordable and absolutely beautiful!

Fujiflex Crystal Archive Paper Prints

Fujiflex Crystal Archive Paper Prints

The traditional paper photo prints have largely given ground to the higher quality and more visually stunning acrylic and metal prints. However, paper prints still have a huge place in the market. My choice for paper prints is the Fujiflex Crystal Archive Prints. These prints last for decades. This paper uses a polyester-based silver-halide material optimized for professional galley-level displays. It has a high-gloss finish, offers sharp detail, high intensity colors, and a distinctive appearance that gives it a luxury feel.

Paper prints are usually framed, but there are so many options and personal preferences, I leave that decision up to the customer.
