The Palouse

This gallery is a collection of fine art images presenting the Palouse country by Chris Marler. The Palouse is a distinct geographic region of the northwestern United States, encompassing parts of north central Idaho and eastern Washington. The rolling hills of wheat, canola, and lentil, endless dirt backroads, and small family farms are a photographer’s paradise. I know this area well since I spent four years of college at nearby University of Idaho. During those years, nobody was taking landscape photos here. But now it's a totally different story. Palouse Landscape photography has evolved into a photography hot-spot of sorts, and for good reason. Take a look at the images in this gallery and you will understand why.
